Initial Placement on Schedules. 1. Credit for approved teaching service outside the District shall be allowed for placement on the Teachers’ Annual Salary Schedule at the ratio of one vertical increment (step) for one year of comparable public school teaching experience. Newly hired, experienced teachers will be given full credit for their prior qualified professional, contractual employment.
