All faculty members have the right to have an Association representative present at any discussion. 5.6.4 It is the responsibility of newly hired faculty members to provide evidence of their credentials and experience in support of initial step placement to Human Resources at the time of hire. The Xxxx, Director or Department Head shall advise each newly hired faculty member to provide their credentials and experience to Human Resources. In the event that a new faculty member does not provide evidence of their credentials in support of initial step placement within one month of the date of receiving their first appointment letter, then Human Resources will determine the faculty member’s initial step placement on the basis of the evidence provided.
