Common use of Injured Clause in Contracts

Injured. Any person who is injured by the act or actions of the actor which results in an Officer Involved Critical Incident. When used in this OICI Protocol, the word injured does not imply the existence or commission of a crime or inference of any liability, but is used simply to designate the person or persons injured.
