Common use of Inspection and Audit of Records Clause in Contracts

Inspection and Audit of Records. CONTRACTOR shall make available access to and provide copies of any books, documents, papers, reports, records, including but not limited to CONTRACTOR’s articles of incorporation, bylaws, and list of current board of directors, and other matter relating to the Contract within ten (10) working days of a request by XXXXX or LEA or as required by law. SELPA or LEA shall state the reason for request at time of the request. CONTRACTOR shall make available to SELPA all budgetary information and projections for purpose of contract negotiations for the period being audited to facilitate assessment of the extent to which funds were expended consistently with said budgetary information. Fiscal records shall be maintained by CONTRACTOR for five (5) years and shall be available for audit.
