Inspection and Copies. Employees or a Union representative whom the employee has so designated in writing have the right to inspect the contents of their personnel file. Employees have the right to insert a reasonable amount of written material in rebuttal to administrative notices relating to job performance or disciplinary actions. Files must be reviewed in the presence of an appropriate administrator and may not be removed from the Human Resource Office. Authorized rebuttal materials may be forwarded to the Human Resources Office for placement in the official personnel file. Employees, at their expense, may request copies of materials from their files.
