INSPECTION OF FACILITIES/AREAS. It is the Quoter’s responsibility to become fully informed as to the nature and extent of the work required, local site conditions and any other factors that may impact performance of the contract. The responsibility to inspect the worksite is the sole responsibility of the Quoter. Arrangement for Quoter’s inspection of facilities and/or activity schedules may be secured no later than by May 3rd from Xxxxxxx Xxxxx Xxxxx, email xxxxxxx.xxxxxxxxxx@xxxx.xxx telephone (000) 000-0000. Inspections at Eastern Water Reclamation Facility (EWRF) will be allowed on Tuesday, May 4th and May 11th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Inspections at Northwest Water Reclamation Facility (NWRF) will be allowed on Thursday, May 6th and May 13th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Untimely requests for inspection shall not be accommodated. Failure to visually inspect the facilities prior to quote submittal may be cause for disqualification of your quote. After contract award, no additional compensation shall be made as a result of differences between actual labor and materials required to complete the project and the contract amount. This inspection will not be a pre-quote conference and personnel providing site access are not authorized to provide any type of information concerning this solicitation. All questions resulting from the facility inspection shall be directed to xxxxxxx.xxxxxxxxxx@xxxx.xxx in writing no later than 5:00PM, May 14, 2021. No oral interpretation of this solicitation or its contents will be provided during the site inspection and no information obtained during said inspection shall be considered binding. Although the County may request the submission of a minimum number of contracts similar to the requirements of this solicitation with certain minimum dimensions, quantities, dollar values, etc., the County’s determination of a quoter’s responsibility shall not be solely based on the number of similar procurements the quoter provides but the entirety of the quoter’s qualifications.
