Institutionalizing Strategic Planning. (August/September 2015): The plan is integrated into the organizational culture of Faculty of Education with structures to ensure ongoing monitoring and periodic reviews and adjustments. The Professional Certificate in English Language Teaching (PCELT) is an internationally accredited 120-hour professional certification course and is designed to introduce innovative methods and international best practices into Al-Azhar's pre-service courses for teachers of English in the Faculty of Education. PCELT is being offered primarily to 4th year undergraduates enrolled in Xx Xxxxx'x English Teacher program but also to Al-Azhar instructors of English interested in earning the PCELT certificate or becoming certified PCELT trainers. Trainers from World Learning/SIT deliver the PCELT training which includes a concurrent training-of-trainers module for faculty. The first of two candidates for PCELT licensure was awarded her license on August 20, 2014.

  • Strategic Planning Facilitate the effective alignment of IT requirements/ Information Resource Management (IRM) plans with strategic business plans and program initiatives. Management Improvements: Development and implementation of improved systems and business practices to optimize productivity and service delivery operations (e.g., analysis, and implementation of improvements in the flow of IT work and program processes and tool utilization, including business system analysis, identification of requirements for streamlining, re-engineering, or re-structuring internal systems/business processes for improvement, determination of IT solution alternatives, benchmarking).

  • STRATEGIC PLAN (1) Within one hundred twenty (120) days, the Board shall adopt, implement, and thereafter ensure Bank adherence to a written strategic plan for the Bank covering at least a three-year period. The strategic plan shall establish objectives for the Bank's overall risk profile, earnings performance, growth, balance sheet mix, off-balance sheet activities, liability structure, capital adequacy, reduction in the volume of nonperforming assets, product line development and market segments that the Bank intends to promote or develop, together with strategies to achieve those objectives and, at a minimum, include: (a) a mission statement that forms the framework for the establishment of strategic goals and objectives; (b) an assessment of the Bank's present and future operating environment; (c) the development of strategic goals and objectives to be accomplished over the short and long term; (d) an identification of the Bank’s present and future product lines (assets and liabilities) that will be utilized to accomplish the strategic goals and objectives established in (1 )(c) of this Article; (e) an evaluation of the Bank's internal operations, staffing requirements, board and management information systems and policies and procedures for their adequacy and contribution to the accomplishment of the goals and objectives developed under (1)(c) of this Article; (f) a management employment and succession program to promote the retention and continuity of capable management; (g) product line development and market segments that the Bank intends to promote or develop; (h) an action plan to improve bank earnings and accomplish identified strategic goals and objectives, including individual responsibilities, accountability and specific time frames; (i) a financial forecast to include projections for major balance sheet and income statement accounts and desired financial ratios over the period covered by the strategic plan; (j) control systems to mitigate risks associated with planned new products, growth, or any proposed changes in the Bank’s operating environment; (k) specific plans to establish responsibilities and accountability for the strategic planning process, new products, growth goals, or proposed changes in the Bank’s operating environment; and (l) systems to monitor the Bank’s progress in meeting the plan’s goals and objectives. (2) Upon adoption, a copy of the plan shall be forwarded to the Assistant Deputy Comptroller for review and prior written determination of no supervisory objection. Upon receiving a determination of no supervisory objection from the Assistant Deputy Comptroller, the Bank shall implement and adhere to the strategic plan. (3) The Board shall ensure that the Bank has processes, personnel, and control systems to ensure implementation of and adherence to the plan developed pursuant to this Article.

  • Selection Planning Prior to the issuance to consultants of any requests for proposals, the proposed plan for the selection of consultants under the Project shall be furnished to the Association for its review and approval, in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 1 of Appendix 1 to the Consultant Guidelines. Selection of all consultants’ services shall be undertaken in accordance with such selection plan as shall have been approved by the Association, and with the provisions of said paragraph 1.

  • Investment Analysis and Implementation In carrying out its obligations under Section 1 hereof, the Advisor shall: (a) supervise all aspects of the operations of the Funds; (b) obtain and evaluate pertinent information about significant developments and economic, statistical and financial data, domestic, foreign or otherwise, whether affecting the economy generally or the Funds, and whether concerning the individual issuers whose securities are included in the assets of the Funds or the activities in which such issuers engage, or with respect to securities which the Advisor considers desirable for inclusion in the Funds' assets; (c) determine which issuers and securities shall be represented in the Funds' investment portfolios and regularly report thereon to the Board of Trustees; (d) formulate and implement continuing programs for the purchases and sales of the securities of such issuers and regularly report thereon to the Board of Trustees; and (e) take, on behalf of the Trust and the Funds, all actions which appear to the Trust and the Funds necessary to carry into effect such purchase and sale programs and supervisory functions as aforesaid, including but not limited to the placing of orders for the purchase and sale of securities for the Funds.

  • Planning The Operating Committee shall implement the transmission system expansion process described in Article 18. The Operating Committee shall review and approve ISO staff assessments of proposed projects that impact transmission capability to confirm that those projects meet all applicable reliability criteria. The Operating Committee shall review and approve the NYS Transmission Plan prepared by the ISO staff and reliability assessments performed using such NYS Transmission Plan, to ensure conformance with the Reliability Rules. The Operating Committee, at the request of a Committee member, may review the adequacy of cost recovery mechanisms for transmission expansion.

  • Product Development (a) Supplier may develop enhancements it intends to incorporate into the BioGlue Surgical Adhesive during the term of this Agreement that have potential application to the Company Product (“Enhancements”). Unless otherwise agreed by the parties, at least once every six months during the Term, representatives of each of BioForm and Supplier shall hold a meeting in accordance with Sections 4.4 and 8.4 (the “Product Development Meeting”) at which Supplier will present Enhancements for BioForm to consider for application to the Company Product. At such Product Development Meeting, BioForm will also present its marketing plans (pursuant to Section 4.4) for the period and any information or feedback that BioForm reasonably believes may lead to Improvements. Within 30 calendar days following each Product Development Meeting, Supplier shall deliver a notice to BioForm (the “Enhancements Notice”) that shall describe the Enhancements that were presented by Supplier at such Product Development Meeting. Within 30 calendar days following receipt of the Enhancements Notice, BioForm may notify Supplier in writing if BioForm elects that any Enhancement described in the Enhancements Notice shall become an Improvement. If BioForm does provide such notice to Supplier during such 30-calendar day period, then BioForm and Supplier shall agree on a timeline for implementation of the Improvement in new Product Specifications for Company Product. If BioForm does not provide such a notice, said Enhancement shall not be implemented into the Company Product. The Enhancements Notice may also describe any potential Enhancements presented by Supplier at the Product Development Meeting, but BioForm shall not be required to take any action under this Section 8.4 with respect to such potential Enhancements until such time as they are presented by Supplier as Enhancements at a future Product Development Meeting. All Enhancements and potential Enhancement information provided by Supplier shall be considered Supplier Confidential Information. (b) From time to time, each party may request the other party to participate in joint projects to develop Improvements. BioForm hereby grants to Supplier a perpetual, royalty free, world-wide, nonexclusive license to Supplier under such Blocking Intellectual Property to make, use, and sell such Intellectual Property outside the Field. “Blocking Intellectual Property” for the purposes of Section 8.4(c)(iii) shall mean Intellectual Property necessary for Supplier to make, use, or sell SA Product.
