INSTRUCTIONAL FREEDOM. Section 6.1 Instructional freedom is encouraged for all employees, and no special limitations, except those necessary to accomplish the educational goals and objectives of the District, shall be placed upon study, investigation, methods presentation and interpreting facts and ideas concerning man, human society, the physical and biological world and other branches of learning subject to accepted standards of professional responsibility.

Each teacher has the responsibility to implement the objectives of the Xxxxxx Hills District educational philosophy and the courses of study in the subject area, which were developed cooperatively including those that were developed by the federal or state agencies or private or independent institutions and approved by the Administration and the Board of Education.

  • Instructional Framework The District and the Association have agreed to the adopted research-based instructional framework developed by Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxxxxxx and approved by OSPI. The Association and District have also agreed to Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxxxxxx’x frameworks for specialists for use with other certificated educators.

  • Instructional Assignment The period of an instructional assignment during an academic year shall not exceed an average of seventy-five (75) days per semester and the period for testing, advisement, and other scheduled assignments shall not exceed an average of ten (10) days per semester. Within each semester, activities referred to above shall be scheduled during contiguous weeks with the exception of spring break, if any.

  • Instructional Day 6 The hours of employment defined in Sections A.1., A.2., and A.3. above shall include 7 at least the required number of instructional minutes to qualify for incentive funding 8 provided in Education Code, Section 46201. The designation of instructional time 9 shall conform to the law. Subject to the foregoing, the minimum number of 10 instructional minutes shall be: 12 Kindergarten 36,000 13 Grades 1, 2, and 3 50,400 14 Grades 4 and 5 54,000 15 Grades 6, 7, and 8 64,800 16 Grades 9, 10, 11, and 12 64,800 17 except that:

  • Instructions (a) The data importer shall process the personal data only on documented instructions from the data exporter. The data exporter may give such instructions throughout the duration of the contract.

  • INSTRUCTIONAL MINUTES When CONTRACTOR is a NPS, the total number of instructional minutes per school day provided by CONTRACTOR shall be at least equivalent to the number of instructional minutes per school day provided to students at like grade level attending LEA schools and shall be specified in the student’s ISA developed in accordance with the student’s IEP. For students in grades kindergarten through 12 inclusive, unless otherwise specified in the student’s IEP and ISA, the number of instructional minutes, excluding breakfast, recess, lunch and passing time shall be at the same level that Ed. Code prescribes for the LEA. The total number of annual instructional minutes shall be at least equivalent to the total number of annual instructional minutes provided to students attending LEA schools in like grade level unless otherwise specified in the student’s IEP. When CONTRACTOR is a NPA and/or related services provider, the total number of minutes per school day provided by CONTRACTOR shall be specified in the student’s ISA developed in accordance with the student’s IEP.

  • Billing Instructions Enter name and mailing address of nominating Agency Finance Office for billing purposes.

  • Instruction 4.1 The Data Processor may only act and process the Personal Data in accordance with the documented instruction from the Data Controller (the "Instruction"), unless required by law to act without such instruction. The Instruction at the time of entering into this Data Processor Agreement (DPA) is that the Data Processor may only process the Personal Data with the purpose of delivering the Membership Services. Subject to the terms of this DPA and with mutual agreement of the parties, the Data Controller may issue additional written instructions consistent with the terms of this Agreement. The Data Controller is responsible for ensuring that all individuals who provide written instructions are authorised to do so.
