Instructor Participation. ‌ (a) Instructors shall participate in in-service training, professional development days and workshops. If in-service training, professional development days or workshops are scheduled during non-Working Days for part-time Instructors, the part-time Instructors shall attend at their option. If the Employer agrees to pay part-time Instructors their prorated salary for attending, then they must attend. (b) Provided reasonable notice is given by the Administrator and the Instructor can reasonably make the necessary arrangements, the Instructor shall, at the Employer's expense, take professional development training outside of normal School hours as the Administrator may require.
