Non-instructional Activities. For non-instructional activities, overload compensation shall be computed on the basis of the faculty member’s base duty day rate for a specified number of duty days. The nature of the assignment and the number of days shall be subject to mutual agreement between the faculty member and the President/designee.
Non-instructional Activities. Services in this category include program coordination, research and development, meetings and symposia, student services (other than counseling), and library services that do not involve contact with students.
Non-instructional Activities. District directed non-instructional activities will be compensated at a rate of ($35) per hour. Such activities will include, but not limited to, participation on committees, in-service, or meetings outside of the contracted day.
Non-instructional Activities.
10.2.1 Employees are required to perform regular assignments such as faculty meetings and Open House or Back-to-School Nights. Employees shall also provide time for parent conferences on a before- or after-school basis or at times mutually agreeable between the parent and the employee.
10.2.2 Co-curricular assignments will be equitably assigned by the site administrator according to the needs of the school. The District shall define the co-curricular assignments at each school. When possible, every effort will be made to be consistent at sites of a similar type. Co-curricular assignments at all sites will be compared at the beginning of each semester to establish equality and consistency. Examples (Class Advisor, Club Advisor).
