Common use of Insurance Coverage and Carriers Clause in Contracts

Insurance Coverage and Carriers. The Board agrees to make available the same level of group medical, dental, life, vision and disability insurance coverages currently being provided. If costs of coverage should increase during the second year of this Agreement, the Board and SCEA agree to continue the same arrangement for sharing costs. Nothing within this Agreement, however, shall prohibit the Board from considering other insurance carriers. The definition of eligible dependent shall be as provided by the insurance carrier selected by the Board, unless otherwise provided by law.
