Tandem Transit Traffic 12.1 As used in this Section, Tandem Transit Traffic is Telephone Exchange Service traffic that originates on CBB's network, and is transported through Verizon’s Tandem to the subtending End Office or its equivalent of another carrier (CLEC, ILEC other than Verizon, Commercial Mobile Radio Service (CMRS) carrier, or other LEC (“Other Carrier”). Neither the originating nor terminating customer is a Customer of Verizon. Subtending End Offices shall be determined in accordance with and as identified in the Local Exchange Routing Guide (LERG). Switched Exchange Access Service traffic is not Tandem Transit Traffic.

CONTRACTOR STAFF WITHIN AUTHORIZED USER AGREEMENT The provisions of this section shall apply unless otherwise agreed in the Authorized User Agreement. All employees of the Contractor, or of its Subcontractors, who shall perform under an Authorized User Agreement, shall possess the necessary qualifications, training, licenses, and permits as may be required within the jurisdiction where the Services specified are to be provided or performed, and shall be legally entitled to work in such jurisdiction. All Business Entities that perform Services under the Contract on behalf of Contractor shall, in performing the Services, comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws concerning employment in the United States. Transfer outside of the Bargaining Unit (a) A nurse who is transferred to a position outside of the bargaining unit for a period of not more than three (3) months, or is seconded to teach for an academic year shall not suffer any loss of seniority, service or benefits. A nurse who is transferred to a position outside of the bargaining unit for a period of more than three (3) months, but not more than one (1) year shall retain, but not accumulate, her or his seniority held at the time of the transfer. In the event the nurse is returned to a position in the bargaining unit, she or he shall be credited with seniority held at the time of transfer and resume accumulation from the date of her or his return to the bargaining unit.
