Interim Payment for Structural Upgrades. If Resident has selected any Structural Upgrades, then Resident shall make an Interim Payment in the sum of $ [ initials] upon the commencement of construction of such upgrades. While the costs of Structural Upgrades may not be known at the time of the execution of this Agreement, they will be set forth in Attachment B prior to the commencement of the Structural Upgrades. Resident will be notified by Messiah Village as to when this Interim Payment is due. The estimated date for the Interim Payment, based on the estimated construction schedule is , 20 . The charge or value of any Structural Upgrades is considered part of and will be added to the Entrance Fee for purposes of calculating the amortization of the Entrance Fee and any applicable Entrance Fee refunds. Upon installation, all Structural Upgrades immediately become the property of Messiah Village and shall remain in the Residence after the termination of this Agreement. Failure to make the Interim Payment upon the commencement of construction of the Structural Upgrades, for reasons other than death, illness, injury or incapacity, will result in forfeiture of the Reservation Fee and the termination of this Agreement. The remaining balance of the actual costs of any Structural Upgrades shall be paid as specified below.
