Common use of Internal Assignments Clause in Contracts

Internal Assignments. Notwithstanding anything in this Lease to the contrary, Tenant has the right to assign this Lease or sublet the Leased Premises, without Landlord’s consent, to a parent, subsidiary, or affiliate of Tenant, to a company that has been merged or consolidated with Tenant, or to a company acquiring all or substantially all of Tenant’s physical assets at the Leased Premises, provided Tenant (or the resulting entity of any merger or consolidation) remains fully liable hereunder.
