Common use of Internal Practices Clause in Contracts

Internal Practices. The Business Associate agrees to make its internal practices, books, subcontracts, records and policies and procedures, relating to the use and disclosure of PHI available to the Covered Entity, or to the federal Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Office for Civil Rights (“OCR”) or their agents, in a time and manner determined the HHS Secretary or designee, for purposes of determining compliance with the requirements of the HIPAA Rule.

Internal Practices. The Business Associate agrees to make its internal practices, policies, procedures, books, subcontracts, and records and policies and procedures, relating to the use and disclosure of PHI received from the Covered Entity (or received by Business Associate on behalf of the Covered Entity) available to the Covered Entity, or to Secretary of the federal Secretary U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Office for Civil Rights (“OCR”) or their agents, in a time inspection and manner determined the HHS Secretary or designee, copying for purposes of the determining the Covered Entity's compliance with the requirements of HIPAA and the HIPAA RuleRegulations.
