Common use of Internal Practices Clause in Contracts

Internal Practices. Business Associate agrees to make internal practices, books, and records relating to the use and disclosure of PHI received from, or created or received by Business Associate on behalf of, Covered Entity available to the Secretary for purposes of the Secretary determining Covered Entity's compliance with the Privacy Rule and Security Rule.

Internal Practices. (a) Business Associate agrees to make internal practices, books, and records records, including policies and procedures, relating to the use and disclosure of PHI received from, or created or received by Business Associate on behalf of, Covered Entity available to Covered Entity, or to the Secretary Secretary, in a time and manner selected by Covered Entity or designated by the Secretary, for purposes of the Secretary determining Covered Entity's compliance with the Privacy Rule and Security Rule.

Business Associate agrees to make (i) internal practices, books, and records records, including policies and procedures, relating to the use and disclosure of PHI Protected Health Information received from, or created or received by Business Associate on behalf of, Covered Entity Humana, and (ii) policies, procedures, and documentation relating to the safeguarding of Electronic Protected Health Information available to Humana, or directly to the Secretary Secretary, in a time and manner designated by Humana or the Secretary, as applicable, for purposes of the Secretary determining Covered Entity's Humana’s compliance with the Privacy Rule and Security RuleRules.
