Common use of Investigation of an Employee Clause in Contracts

Investigation of an Employee. No investigation of an employee, beyond preliminary inquiry, by the Special Investigative Unit may be undertaken without written notice to the employee, such notice to include a statement of the cause giving rise to the investigation. Any information relied upon by SIU to take or recommend disciplinary action against an employee shall be provided to the employee and/or the BTU upon request.
