Common use of Investment Officer Clause in Contracts

Investment Officer. The Trust Agreement designates the Chairman of the Board, ex officio, or in the absence of the Chairman, the Vice Chairman, if any, to serve as Investment Officer to handle the investment of funds of Texas CLASS. The Investment Officer shall be responsible for investing funds of Texas CLASS in accordance with this Policy. The Investment Officer shall invest funds of Texas CLASS, not for speculation, but for investment, considering the probable safety of capital and the probable income to be derived, with all investment decisions to be governed by the following objectives in order of priority: (a) preservation and safety of principal; (b) liquidity; and
