The Involuntary Reductions clause defines the circumstances and procedures under which an employee's hours, pay, or position may be reduced by the employer without the employee's consent. Typically, this clause outlines the specific triggers for such reductions, such as organizational restructuring, budget cuts, or changes in business needs, and may detail the notice period or process for informing affected employees. Involuntary Reductions. Full-time employees whose hours are involuntarily reduced shall receive pro-rata leave, vacation and holiday benefits.
