Jail Diversion. The PIHP shall provide services designed to divert beneficiaries that qualify for MH/DD specialty services from a possible jail incarceration, when appropriate. Such services should be consistent with the Jail Diversion Practice Guideline. The PIHP will collect data reflective of jail diversion activities and outcomes as indicated in the Practice Guideline (Attachment P 6.8.4.1).
