Common use of JOB CONTACTS Clause in Contracts

JOB CONTACTS. Any authorized representative of the Association shall have the right to contact individual employees working within the representation unit by their organization in County facilities during business hours on matters within the scope of representation providing prior arrangements have been made for each such contact with the Sheriff who shall grant permission for such contact if, in his judgment, it will not disrupt the business of the work unit involved. When contact at the work location is precluded by confidentiality of records, or work situation, health and safety of employees or the public, or by disturbance to others, the Sheriff shall have the right to make other arrangements for a contact location removed from the work area. Spontaneous arrivals during business hours at County facilities of Association representatives for the purpose of contacting individual employees

If they do occur, meetings will not take place.
