Common use of Job Related Training and Qualifications Clause in Contracts

Job Related Training and Qualifications. The Agency agrees to provide job related training and development for employees, as necessary, to accomplish the mission of the SCNG in an economical and efficient manner, and to consider the Union’s views and recommendations in developing programs relating to training of employees. The Agency shall encourage and assist in securing training for all employees, as appropriate (to include re-certification training in specialized areas) that is consistent with the Agency’s needs and IAW applicable laws and regulations. All employees shall have an equal opportunity to participate in training related to their position.
