Other Duties as Assigned. The phrase “performs other duties as assigned” on the position Class Specifications shall be interpreted as “performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification.”
Other Duties as Assigned. Government may assign Crews to other duties in connection with the wildfire assignment if the Crew Members are qualified to perform those duties. Duties may include working as a camp crew, piling brush or other work or activity deemed appropriate by Government. Work must not include hazardous tree falling (B 2.7). Shifts worked must be within Work/Rest guidelines.
Other Duties as Assigned. When duties are to be performed that are not a regular part of the regularly assigned duties, the administrator will work with the employee to adjust the current workload to match hours scheduled.
Other Duties as Assigned. Other duties may be assigned as necessary so long as the duties assigned to any Department Chairperson do not exceed the equivalent of a full- time load, as defined in this Agreement.

Other Duties as Assigned. Teachers are expected to:
1. Be available to students who may be seeking assistance before and/or after school.
2. Be available to parents who may wish to discuss a school related problem.
3. Inform students and parents at the beginning of each marking period of the times they will be available for appointment.
4. Be available to meet with staff specialists, i.e., reading, math, language arts, music, art, physical education, special education, etc.
5. Be available to meet with administrative and supervisory personnel for conferences, in-service training, and faculty meetings
6. Be available to meet with colleagues whose functions require cooperative planning and effort
7. Maintain adequate planning, classroom order, and organization
8. Be available for reasonable and essential supervisory duties, including supervisory duties prior to the start of the school day
9. Be active participants at their school site. Middle School Team Leaders, Elementary Grade Level Chairs, committee membership or similar roles, shall be voluntary. These additional responsibilities and the means for accomplishing these duties (i.e., school business time, staff development credit) shall be mutually developed by the teacher and the administrator.
Other Duties as Assigned. The Secretary may delegate some or all of these duties, except when State law prohibits the delegation. The Board appoints a secretary pro tempore, who may or may not be a Board member, if the Secretary is absent from any meeting or refuses to perform the duties of the office.
Other Duties as Assigned. 1. The Agency may require an employee to perform “other duties as assigned” on a temporary and infrequent basis.
2. The Parties agree that the phrase “other duties as assigned” as used in a PD simply establishes the principle that assignment of duties to employees is not limited to the duties specifically described in the PD and will not be grade-determining.
3. “Other duties as assigned” does not apply to tasks which would otherwise be considered a detail, temporary promotion, or a reassignment, and may not include those duties that might result in injury to the employee or fellow employees due to a lack of knowledge, lack of proper equipment, or improper training for the task.
4. “Other duties as assigned” should not exceed twenty-five (25%) of the time that an employee is available to perform his primary duties (as outlined in their PD). Neither the Agency nor employees shall abuse the use of "other duties as assigned." If an employee is assigned duties of a higher pay grade for more than thirty (30) days within a one hundred and twenty (120) day period, the employee should be temporarily promoted to the higher paying position. Promotions exceeding one hundred and twenty days (120) days shall be competitively announced.

In emergency situations, duties that might not be reasonably related to an employee’s position may have to be assigned. Also, there are some situations where what might be considered unrelated duties are normally assigned. Except in limited circumstances, “other duties as assigned” should be closely related to the employee’s position and qualifications.
3. “Other duties as assigned” does not apply to tasks which would otherwise be considered a detail, temporary promotion, or a reassignment, and may not include duties:
a. That are directed by someone other than the employee’s civilian chain of command.
b. That may result in injury to the employee or fellow employees due to a lack of knowledge, lack of proper equipment, or improper training for the task.
