Common use of Job Retention/Re-employment Services Clause in Contracts

Job Retention/Re-employment Services. The Contractor shall be responsible for assisting the participants and their respective employers with job retention and/or re- employment services. The length of job retention assistance will be for at least 180 days for CalWORKs recipients and 90 days for CalFresh E&T participants, after the initial employment start date. It is the intent of these follow up services to help participants placed into jobs overcome any challenges or issues that may arise during this critical period, and to ensure further progress toward long-term employment and eventual self- sufficiency.
