Common use of Job Share Benefits Clause in Contracts

Job Share Benefits. Job share benefits will be provided to employees sharing the regular work hours and benefits of one full-time position and the employee must work a minimum of twenty (20) hours per week to be eligible for medical, dental, life and disability insurance. 17.2.9.1 Each employee will have the option to enroll in a medical plan and dental plan of the employee’s choice. The County contribution for each job-share employee shall be equivalent to fifty percent (50%) of the employer contribution for the medical plan and dental place selected by the employee. Any premium over the employer contribution will be the responsibility of the employee, or 17.2.9.2 Job-share partners may elect to have one (1) partner have medical coverage only and one (1) have dental coverage only. With this election the county will pay the employer contribution for the coverage in the same manner as a full time employee. 17.2.9.3 Each job share employee shall also receive a life insurance benefit at the same level as provided to full time employees.
