Basic Salary Schedules. The salaries reported in Schedules A-1 of Appendix A shall be a part of this Agreement for the 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 school years, respectively. For individual teachers, the salary schedule rates become effective on the first day the teacher is to report back to his or her regular assignment for the upcoming school year.
Basic Salary Schedules. All basic salaries of teachers covered by this Agreement are set forth in APPENDIX A and APPENDIX B, which are attached to and incorporated in this Agreement. Such salary schedules shall remain in effect during the designated periods. The salary schedules shall not be construed as a part of a teacher's continuing contract. In the event that a successor Agreement is not entered into prior to the expiration date of this Agreement, step increments will be paid at the time the new Agreement is executed or by the end of the fiscal year, whichever is earlier. Teachers earning a lane change in either year will be compensated as outlined in Section 5.16 of this article. In the event that Agreement negotiations extend into the second year, the first year increments will continue to be paid with the second year increments payable when the new Agreement is executed or by the end of the fiscal year, whichever is earlier.
Basic Salary Schedules. 1. Unless otherwise specified in this Agreement, the Committee agrees that the Salary Schedules A - F, attached hereto and made a part hereof, shall apply to all members of the bargaining unit, as defined in Article 1, Section A of this Agreement.
2. For purposes of Step advancement on the Salary Schedule, ninety-one (91) school days of employment as a Professional Employee in a work year shall constitute a year on the Salary Schedule.
3. The Committee recognizes that, in the event part-time employees are hired in the New Bedford School System, the Committee will bargain with the Association as required by Chapter 150E of the Massachusetts General Laws.
Basic Salary Schedules. 1. The salaries of the members of the bargaining unit are set forth in Appendices A 1-2 which are attached to and made a part of this Agreement.
2. Upon employment in the Xxxx Public Schools, a member of the bargaining unit shall be placed at the step appropriate for their educational status and creditable years of experience.
3. Presently employed paraprofessionals shall be placed on the step appropriate for their educational status and creditable years of experience as determined by their initial date of employment.

Two (2) additional days for the purpose of staff development shall be compensated at the rate of 1/180th of each individual’s total salary per day. *Students will not be in attendance on staff development days. They shall not be scheduled for weekends, holidays, or vacation periods. The first staff development day shall be held on the Tuesday after Labor Day. The second staff development day shall be scheduled between the first day of student attendance and the last day of student attendance. No meetings voluntary or other shall be scheduled prior to the first staff development day. Such compensation shall be payable on or before July 1st.

3. Basic Salary Schedules. The salaries and differentials of teachers are as agreed to as set forth in Appendix A, which is attached hereto and made part of this Agreement. Teachers shall notify the District in writing by December 1st if they anticipate earning a salary track change in the first or second semester of the next school year. Track changes shall be awarded either at the beginning of the contract year or on the first day of the third academic quarter. To receive the track change, the teacher must provide evidence of the completed course work (an official or unofficial record) one (1) week prior to the first day of the contract year or one (1) week prior to the first day of the third academic quarter. If an unofficial transcript or grade report is provided, an official transcript or grade report must be provided by the teacher within thirty (30) days of submitting the unofficial transcript or grade report. If evidence of a salary track change is not provided by one (1) week prior to the first day of the third academic quarter, teachers must re-submit notification by December 1st that they anticipate earning a salary track change during the next contract year.
Basic Salary Schedules. The basic salaries set forth in Appendices A and B (which are attached hereto and made a part of this contract) shall be effective as of July 1, 2011, and until June 30, 2013. Basic salary schedules shall apply to the performance of basic duties for 184 or 187 days, as specified in Section 5.01, during each of the above contract years. Part time teachers contracted to work less than the full time duty day or less than the full number of duty days in the work year will be paid prorata from these salary schedules.
Basic Salary Schedules. The basic salary schedules of full-time faculty members covered by this Agreement are set forth in Appendix A.
A. The salary schedule has four tracks; namely, Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; Master’s Degree or equivalent; Mas- ter’s Degree plus 30 semester hours or more; and Doctorate. The degree must be earned from an institution accred- ited by a nationally recognized regional accreditation association.
B. Faculty members earning graduate college credits, or gaining professional equivalency as spelled out in Section 1, in addition to those used for initial placement may file these credits with the designated administrator for new track as- signment. Applications for such new assignment must be made within thirty (30) days of the opening of each semes- ter and must be substantiated by an official transcript or other appropriate documentation relative to professional equivalency. Compensation shall be adjusted accordingly beginning with the semester in which application is made.
C. Initial placement on a step in an assigned track may, at the sole discretion of Administration, be accomplished in the following manner:
