Common use of Joint Committee May Delegate Clause in Contracts

Joint Committee May Delegate. 9.24.1 The Joint Committee may delegate any of the powers which are conferred on them under this Agreement: (a) to a sub-committee or an officer of one of the councils; (b) to such an extent; (c) in relation to such matters; and (d) on such terms and conditions, as they think fit from time to time (subject to any restrictions that may be imposed upon such delegation by any of the Councils). 9.24.2 The Joint Committee may allow that such delegation shall automatically authorise further delegation of the Joint Committee's powers by any person to whom they are delegated provided that the Joint Committee specifically states this within such delegation authority. 9.24.3 The Joint Committee may revoke any delegation in whole or part, or alter its terms and conditions at any time.
