Justification. The CompTIA Network+ certification represents industry acknowledgement of technical skill attainment of competencies in the Computer Engineering Technology program. Applicability: State college administrators (statewide) were consulted and agreed that the “CompTIA Network+” shall articulate three (3) college credit hours to the AAS/AS Degree in Computer Engineering Technology. Articulated credit awarded under this agreement may only be applied to the above AAS/AS Degree and the following College Credit Certificate (CCC) programs: Cisco Certified Network Associate (0611020301), Computer Specialist (0611100604), Microcomputer Repairer/Installer (0647010406), Network Systems Developer (0611090104), and Wireless and IP Communications Technician (0615030505).
