Common use of Lack of Appropriation Clause in Contracts

Lack of Appropriation. In the event the Agency is prevented from disbursing the full amount of the Contribution due to a lack or reduction of appropriation or departmental funding levels, the Parties agree to review the effects of such a shortfall in the Contribution on the implementation of the Agreement and to adjust, as appropriate, the expected results from the Project specified in Schedule 2 – Statement of Work.
