LAMPPOST WIRING AND FUSING. 4.42.1 WIRING Lamppost wiring shall be # 12 RHW or cross-linked polyethylene (XLP) conductors with a weatherproof in-line fuse holder, and a 15 amp. time delay fuse, between the Device’s supply source and the luminaire, fixture, and/or floodlights. The most accessible parts of sockets, outlets, and other similar equipment shall be connected to the grounded neutral leg. Each piece of equipment shall be tested. One leg of a test lamp or other approved device shall be connected to a definite ground, and the other leg to the bare accessible part of the equipment.
