Layered Responsibilities for Review. 7.3.1 RPT recommendations and the length of each reappointment shall be initiated by the academic unit based upon criteria and procedures developed by the members of the academic unit. The combined Committee will make recommendations to the Deans of the Colleges of Medicine and Engineering, who will make recommendations to the Provosts for Health Affairs and for Baccalaureate and Graduate Education. The Deans and the Provosts will rotate responsibilities for RPT on a yearly basis as follows: in even-numbered years, the Xxxx of the College of Engineering and the Xxxxxxx for Health Affairs will make all decisions regarding tenure and promotion to the rank of Professor, and the Xxxx of the College of Medicine and the Xxxxxxx for Baccalaureate and Graduate Education will make all other RPT decisions as necessary.
