Leave Accruals Paid Out At Retirement. Effective upon receipt of a PLR regarding the transfers of sick leave and vacation leave into the Trust and an opinion letter (if available) by the State of California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement regarding the payout of vacation (Opinion Letter), the parties shall execute a side letter to this MOU providing that no earlier than December 10, 2013, each regular employee filling a classification in Bargaining Unit 43 shall have 50% of their existing payouts of accumulated vacation owed to them at the time of retirement go directly into individual accounts in the DSA RMT.
