Leave for Medical and Dental Appointments. (a) Employees shall be allowed paid leave of absence, subject to Article 18.05, up to four (4) work days per annum in order to engage in personal preventive medical and dental care. Such leave will be debited against sick leave credits. (b) A Temporary Employee shall be allowed paid leave of absence, subject to Article 18.05, at a rate of one (1) day for each three (3) completed months of service in order to engage in personal preventive medical and dental care.
