Leave for Medical and Dental Appointments. Permanent and probationary employees will schedule and attend their medical and dental appointments on their own time. Only when this is not possible will appointments be allowed on City time, without loss of pay, to a maximum of three hours. Employees are expected to provide as much notice as possible and will not be obliged to make up the time spent away from work to keep the appointments.
