Common use of Leave for Other Organizational Business Clause in Contracts

Leave for Other Organizational Business. Employees engaged in MSEA business may apply for administrative leave without pay. Such applications shall not be unreasonably denied, and if denied the reasons for the denial shall be stated to the applicant in writing. The Executive Director has the authority to deny or defer such leave if it interferes with operations and/or the educational program and to limit the amount of leave used by individual employees. The employee shall provide the Executive Director with at least two (2) weeks’ notice of the MSEA business and provide documentation of attendance upon their return.
