Personal Business. Users may not use the Fitness Center premises for personal business without prior written approval by an authorized representative of the Fitness Center, which approval may be withheld in the Fitness Center’s sole and absolute discretion.

Personal Business. If an employee desires to be off on personal business (not emergencies), he may do so with the consent of the Company so long as he does not desire to be off over two (2) work weeks and provided that he gives the Company forty-eight (48) hours' notice of his desire to be absent and the length of time he desires to be off. Upon completion of such leave, he will resume employment on the basis of uninterrupted service.
Personal Business. Teachers shall be entitled to the following leaves of absence with each school year: a. Three (3) days of absence for personal business may be granted with no loss of pay, two (2) days allowed by Indiana State Statute, and one (1) day allowed by the Board. The three (3) days shall be accumulative in sick leave if unused. Application for all personal business leave shall be made at least twenty-four (24) hours before taking such leave (except in case of emergencies) and the applicant will not be required to state the reason for taking such leave. The Employer shall honor all requests regardless of reasons. Personal business leave days should not be used for the purpose of extending vacations. a. Days in excess of personal leave days may be granted to observe religious holidays. b. Additional leave without pay may be granted by the Superintendent.
Personal Business. Leaves for personal business may be granted; however, it shall be with loss of pay and shall not exceed thirty (30) days. At the end of this period he/she must go on an unpaid leave of absence or return to work.
Personal Business. Employees shall receive a total of three (3) work days per year with no loss in salary that may be used for personal business. Employees employed on or after February 1 shall receive one (1) work day of personal business leave. Unused personal business leave days may be accumulated up to no greater than five (5) days. On July 1 of each year any personal business days in excess of five (5) will be converted to sick leave days. If, however, an unforeseen circumstance requires the employee’s absence which could not be requested three days in advance, the reason for the absence shall be stated and the supervisor may, at his/her discretion, approve the absence as a day of personal business leave. Personal business leave may be denied when, in the judgment of the supervisor, the employee’s absence would impair the educational process. Personal business leave shall not be taken immediately before or immediately after a holiday or weekday when school is closed, or on an inservice day for teachers or at the beginning (first five scheduled workdays) or the end of the school year (last five scheduled workdays). Exceptions to the foregoing restrictions on days to be used for personal business leave may be made by the appropriate designee of the Superintendent for circumstances which require the member’s absence on these days. Personal business leave may be denied when, in the judgment of the Superintendent or designee, the member’s absence would impair the educational process. Personal Business leave not connected with any holiday will be granted upon the approval of the appropriate director or Assistant Superintendent.
Personal Business. A leave of absence may be granted to conclude essential legal actions or to obtain broadening professional experience, and must be supported by such evidence as the District may designate. The term "broadening professional experience" means experience gained through employment, study, or research which is not obtainable in a manner which might otherwise qualify a faculty member for study leave as set forth in Section 8.1.A.(2) and which, in the judgment of the Governing Board, will increase the faculty member's competence in relation to his/her present or anticipated assignment within the District.
Personal Business. An Employee may be granted four (4) days per year for personal business. Personal business days must have administrative approval. This leave shall be used only for the purpose of conducting business which requires the personal presence and attention of the Employee and which cannot be conducted at alternative times which do not interfere with the duties of employment. The portion of personal business time not used by the Employee by the end of the contract year shall be added to the individual sick leave bank.

Personal Business. At the discretion of the Superintendent, a Unit Member may be granted limited leave, not to exceed five (5) days, for personal business. Applications for this leave shall be submitted, in writing, to the Superintendent’s office, sufficiently in advance of the intended leave, for action to be taken on the request prior to the date of the intended leave. A Unit Member will receive his/her full salary and reimburse the District for the full cost (salary plus driven costs) of the substitute.

All employees shall be entitled to a maximum of three (3) personal business days per year in addition to the allotment of sick leave to take care of personal business which cannot otherwise be conducted outside of the normal working hours and provided that the use of said days has prior administrative approval and the employee has filled out the necessary form. 2. In cases of emergency, the employee must contact an administrator who has the authority to grant such leave. 3. Days not used may be accumulated as sick leave days. 4. Upon approval of the Superintendent, one or more accumulated sick days may be made available to the employee as personal business time.

Unused personal business days shall be added to accumulate up to six (6) days per year with the remaining days to be added to sick leave as of July 1 at the close of the school year. 3. If taking five (5) or more consecutive personal business days, the teacher must notify NISEC administration via the Assistant Director two weeks prior to the leave for approval.
