LEAVE FOR TRAINING WITH DEFENCE FORCE RESERVES. 37.1 The Employer must grant leave of absence for the purpose of defence service to a Health Worker who is a volunteer member of the Defence Force Reserves or the Cadet Force. Defence service means service, including training, in a part of the Reserves or Cadet Force. 37.2 Leave of absence may be paid or unpaid in accordance with the provisions of this clause. 37.3 Application for leave of absence for defence service will, in all cases, be accompanied by evidence that the request for leave relates to reserve service or training. At the expiration of the leave of absence granted, the Health Worker will provide a certificate of attendance to the Employer.
