Paid Leave. Employees shall be entitled to the following temporary, non-accumulative leaves of absence with full pay each school year.
Paid Leave. (a) Employees will be entitled to military leave with pay not to exceed twenty-one (21) working days during each year, beginning October 1st and ending the following September 30th, in order to report for active duty, when called, or to take part in active training duty in such manner and at such time as they may be ordered to active duty or active training duty in the Washington National Guard or the Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, or Marine Corps reserve of the United States or any organized reserve or armed forces of the United States. Such leave will be in addition to any vacation and sick leave to which an employee is entitled and will not result in any reduction of benefits, performance ratings, privileges or pay. During paid military leave, the employee will receive his or her normal base pay. (b) Employees required to appear during working hours for a physical examination to determine physical fitness for military service will receive full pay for the time required to complete the examination.

Paid Leave. A leave of absence with pay shall not alter a nurse’s anniversary date of employment or otherwise affect the nurse’s compensation or status with the Employer, and reinstatement to the same scheduled number of hours, shift and unit shall be guaranteed.

Paid Leave. An Employee who is a volunteer member of the Defence Force Reserve or the Cadet Force is entitled to paid leave of absence for Defence Service, subject to the conditions set out below: a) Part time Employees shall receive the same paid leave entitlement as full-time Employees but payment shall only be made for those hours that would normally have been worked but for the leave. b) On written application, an Employee shall be paid wages in advance when proceeding on such leave. c) An officer is entitled to paid leave for a period not exceeding 105 hours or any greater period nominated by the Policy Statement from time to time on full pay in any period of 12 months commencing on 1 July in each year. d) An Employee is entitled to a further period of leave, not exceeding 16 calendar days, in any period of 12 months commencing on July 1. Pay for this leave shall be at the rate of the difference between the normal remuneration of the Employee and the Defence Force payments to which the Employee is entitled if such payments do not exceed normal wages. In calculating the pay differential, pay for Saturdays, Sundays, Public Holidays and rostered days off is to be excluded, and no account is to be taken of the value of any board or lodging provided for the officer.
Paid Leave. Executive shall be entitled to four (4) weeks of paid vacation leave each year, subject an annual accrual cap of 30 working days. Executive shall also be entitled to all paid holidays to which executive level employees of the Company are entitled. Accrued unused vacation leave shall be paid in the event of a termination of employment.
