Leave of Absence to Attend Union Conventions. The Employer shall grant leave of absence with pay to Union delegates to conventions of the following organizations: Canada Labour Congress Ontario Federation of Labour Canadian Union of Public Employees Ontario Division of CUPE The Union will attempt to notify the employee’s Manager at least twenty (20) working days prior to the date they will be leaving to attend a convention. A copy of this notification will be provided by the Union to the Manager, Labour Relations. The Union will reimburse the Employer for the pay received by the applicable Union delegates while on such leave of absence.
