Common use of Leaves for Study Clause in Contracts

Leaves for Study. 1 Full-time employees who have completed at least three (3) continuous years of service may be granted, upon request, leaves of up to one (1) year, without pay or increment, for study if the study pertains to the work in which the employee is engaged or would enhance opportunities for promotion to other positions listed on the Salary Schedule for full-time employees. Transcripts or other pertinent material are to be turned in on completion of study.
