Leaves of Absence with Pay – General Provisions. 1. All requests for leaves of absence with pay shall be submitted to and approved by the member’s immediate supervisor. 2. Members shall not accrue or earn sick leave days or vacation days while on an approved leave of absence with pay. Insurance benefits shall continue for the duration of a leave of absence with pay.
