Length of Recall Rights. A. No new teacher, lay, religious or priest, shall be employed to fill a vacancy in a position previously staffed by a teacher who was laid off by the parish or cluster reorganized schools within the previous 30 consecutive months until such time as the open position has been offered as stipulated in Article VI, Section 1B and 1C to certified lay teachers who are laid off. B. Replacement Teacher--Any teacher hired as a replacement teacher shall be notified, at the time of employment, that he/she is a temporary, replacement teacher. The statement of temporary employment shall be stated on the replacement teacher’s contract.
