Common use of Letter of Authorization Clause in Contracts

Letter of Authorization. VERIZON will not release the Customer service record (CSR) containing Customer proprietary network information (CPNI) to SPRINT on VERIZON Customer accounts unless SPRINT first provides to VERIZON a written Letter of Authorization (LOA). Such LOA may be a blanket LOA or other form agreed upon between VERIZON and SPRINT authorizing the release of such information to SPRINT or if state or federal law provides otherwise, in accordance with such law. A LOA will be required before VERIZON will process an order for UNEs or Combinations provided in cases in which the subscriber currently receives local exchange or Exchange Access service from VERIZON or from a local service provider other than SPRINT. Such LOA may be a blanket LOA or such other form as agreed upon between VERIZON and SPRINT.
