Level One Grievance Procedure. 1. Within five (5) working days of the occurrence of the grievance, the employee shall notify the immediate supervisor of the intent to invoke this step of the grievance procedure by giving notice in writing stating as specifically as possible what is at issue and requesting an opportunity for the aggrieved, with or without Association representation, to discuss the matter with the designated supervisor with the objective of resolving the matter informally. 2. Within five (5) working days of the informal discussion, the supervisor shall give his/her disposition orally to the grievant.
