Common use of Liability for Personnel Clause in Contracts

Liability for Personnel. a) All persons employed by the custom xxxxxx shall be treated as his own employees/servants in all respects and the responsibility under the Indian Factories Act or Employees Provident Fund Act or any such other Statute applicable to all such personnel shall be liability of the custom xxxxxx.

The custom xxxxxx shall be bound to indemnify the Corporation against all claims whatsoever in respect of the said personnel under the workmen’s Compensation Act or any statutory notifications thereof in respect of any damage or compensation payable in consequence of any accident or injury sustained by any xxxxxxx or other persons whether in employment of the custom xxxxxx or not.
