Librarian III. The primary criterion for appointment or promotion to the rank of Librarian III shall be professional performance; the successful candidate shall have a record over a period of years, of significant achievement in librarianship, exercising sound independent judgment and creativity. There should be clear evidence of continuing professional development and demonstrated ability in an area of Library service and/or in an administrative capacity. The candidate must also demonstrate achievement in research and professional development in one or more of the following areas:
