Common use of License Suspension Clause in Contracts

License Suspension. An employee who is required to hold a valid Drivers license in order to perform their job shall, by mutual agreement between the parties, be granted one leave of absence to cover a license suspension. the same employee has another suspension within a three (3)year period, they may or may not be granted another leave of absence and this shall be at the discretion of the Employer. April to March Collective Agreement between Greyhound and CAW Local Section I (General) Sickness shalt be considered a legitimate reason for absence from work, provided the Employer is notified. Abuse of this clause may result in disciplinary action.
