Common use of Limitations On Outside Employment Clause in Contracts

Limitations On Outside Employment. In the event such employment constitutes a conflict of interest or interferes with the employee's efficiency or availability for work, or involves the securing of any license or approval from the City of Wausau, or exceeds four (4) hours per day and/or twenty-four (24) hours per week in outside employment, the Chief of the Department shall give the employee a written notice not to begin or to withdraw from the outside employment, whichever is applicable. The member, upon receipt of such order, shall terminate his/her outside employment forthwith.
