Lodge Business. Representatives of the Lodge, other than members, shall be permitted to transact official Lodge business at Departmental work sites at all reasonable times, provided that this shall not interfere with or interrupt normal Departmental operations, and provided the representative gives the Chief or designee advance notice.
Lodge Business. Section 9.1 The President of the Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #93 shall be assigned to a special forty (40) hour administrative position for the purpose of conducting necessary business relating to furthering Lodge/Management relations. The specific conditions of the administrative position assignment are further clarified within the Memorandum of Understanding agreed to by the parties and dated May 25, 1994. Pay for the Lodge President shall be equal to the amount of his normal assignment.
Section 9.2 A Lodge member shall be assigned to a special forty (40) hour Lodge administrative position for the purpose of conducting necessary business relating to furthering Lodge/Management relations and community relations. Outside of normal Lodge duties, the duties of this position shall include participating in public forums, community-related training and provide input, support or advice related to various community initiatives that would benefit the Lodge, the Tulsa Police Department and the City of Tulsa. The extra duties shall be mutually agreed upon by the Lodge and the City. The duties of this position may be shared with the Lodge President. Pay for the Lodge member shall be equal to the amount of his normal assignment.
Section 9.3 The President, First Vice-President, Second Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Chairman of the Negotiations Committee, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors shall be allowed duty time to attend regularly scheduled Lodge meetings each month if his regular shift occurs during periods of time in which such meetings are held. Such time off with pay shall not exceed the period of time required for two Lodge meetings in any calendar month.
Section 9.4 Lodge delegates, Local, State and National Officers, if any, shall be granted up to forty (40) hours per calendar year to attend the State Fraternal Order of Police Convention, the National Fraternal Order of Police Convention or any other Lodge business deemed necessary by the FOP President, provided the leave would not cause a hire back as of the date it is requested. In addition to the leave provided above, State and National Officers, if any, shall be granted one hundred twenty (120) hours per calendar year to attend National Board Meetings, National Memorial Services, National Day on the Hill, Western States Meetings, National Presidents’ Meetings, State Presidents’ Meetings, Winter Board Meetings, State Memorial Services and other Lodge business, if necessary. Lodge Business. Section 1. The Lodge may select one representative per watch and an alternative representative for each to act in his absence. One representative may be named as Chief Representative. These representatives shall be certified to the City in writing. Only those representatives certified by the Lodge in writing will be permitted to conduct business on behalf of the Lodge. The City may, when it is necessary, reassign Patrol Officers from one watch to another and no restriction of that right is implied by this Section. The City will not transfer a representative to another watch because of the fact that he has been chosen as a representative. If a representative is transferred, then the selection of another will be immediately allowed.
Section 2. In cases of any disciplinary action or grievances, the representative shall be allowed reasonable time without loss of pay to investigate a grievance, or consult with the City in processing a grievance, if he first receives permission from his supervisor. Such permission will not be unreasonably denied. When an employee is directed to participate in an investigatory interview or interrogation with a supervisor and either party reasonably believes and states that information which is to be discussed may result in disciplinary action of severity greater than reprimand of record, or at the time an employee is to receive a reprimand of record, the watch representative will be present upon the request of the Patrol Officer or the supervisor so long as the watch representative is promptly available. Denial of representation in accordance with this section shall be subject to the grievance procedure; however, failure of compliance with any aspect of this provision shall not void disciplinary action imposed for just cause.
Section 3. The City shall provide the Lodge with a list of new Patrol Officers within a reasonable time after new Patrol Officers are hired. The Lodge shall furnish the City with a current copy of its Constitution and By-laws with changes within a reasonable time. The Lodge shall be provided with current copies of all liability, medical, life and health insurance policies that apply to members of the bargaining unit.

Lodge Business. When possible, a Lodge representative will give advance notice and obtain approval from the Chief or designee if the Lodge intends to use the employer's equipment or property for Lodge business or other non-work related activities. In the Chief's or designee's absence, notice shall be given to and approval obtained from the shift supervisor at the time. Permission of the Chief or designee to use the equipment or property will not be withheld without a valid reason.

Lodge Business. The City will pay full-time City employees who are on duty and who serve as Lodge representatives for time spent in labor management meetings, grievance meetings, and representing employees during investigatory interviews. All other Lodge business shall be performed on non-working time.

The Employer agrees to make every reasonable effort to afford Lodge member’s professional leave for official Fraternal Order of Police business. A log showing total professional days used shall be maintained in the office of the Financial Director. Professional leave is separate and not computed against employee accrued vacation leave, holiday leave, and compensatory time or on non-scheduled workdays, to include regularly scheduled days off. The Employer shall be entitled to assume all requests for professional leave have been approved by the appropriate Lodge officials and shall not be responsible for granting additional time if such requests were not authorized.

SECTION 2 Members shall be able to attend Lodge meetings and conduct FOP business while on duty, subject to immediate call. The City recognizes the Lodge is based in Choctaw, and as such, some FOP business will be conducted within the City Limits of Choctaw, to include, but is not limited to, regular meetings. The City recognizes the current, established place of such regular meetings to be the FNB Community Bank (15801 NE 23rd St, Choctaw, OK 73020). Officers who wish to attend such meetings while on duty may do so if the designated meeting place does not exceed two (2) miles from the nearest City of Xxxxxx Border.
Lodge Business. With prior approval of the Chief, Bargaining Unit Members shall be paid at their regular scheduled rate for attending meetings with the City, which occur during their shift.
