Logical Framework Sample Clauses
A Logical Framework clause establishes a structured approach for planning, monitoring, and evaluating a project or agreement. It typically outlines key objectives, activities, indicators, and means of verification, often using a matrix or table format to clarify roles, responsibilities, and expected outcomes. By providing a clear roadmap and measurable benchmarks, this clause helps ensure all parties have a shared understanding of project goals and how progress will be assessed, thereby reducing ambiguity and facilitating effective project management.

Logical Framework. The logical framework in chapter V of the project description sets out narrative statements on the overall project and the three outputs, indicators for assessment and milestones of activities, the expected results, and assumption for programme implementation. The interim report should follow this logical framework for the project. Achievements by 31 January 2010 and activities to be undertaken thereafter are given in annex I. For ease of reference, the chapters and sections below provide additional pieces of information.
Logical Framework. The application should include a consistent logical framework (LogFrame), clearly identifying the impact or objectives your grant project will achieve. A LogFrame is in essence a cause and effect matrix where inputs lead to outputs. Outputs lead to specific objectives, which in turn lead to overall objectives. The format for this matrix is presented in annex B. The LogFrame of your grant application should present the key elements of your development intervention and their interrelationships (intervention logic). Besides, your LogFrame should identify the inputs and outputs the project or program will deliver to enable achievement of the proposed objectives. In all, objectively verifiable (measurable and/or tangible) indicators need to be stated as to measure achievement of your targets. When assessing the LogFrame, the evaluators will assess the quality of the LogFrame, the extent to which objectives, results, activities and inputs are logically interconnected.
